Warmup Drill

This shouldn’t be longer that 10 minutes.

  • Do the exercise for the hands, by squeezing them slowly 20 times
  • Run 2 rounds slowly
  • Take the ball wide with one hand and snap it with the other hand hard 10 times
  • Shoot 10 times against the wall, pay attention to form and spin
  • Run 1 round with squeezing hands high in the air
  • Shoot around the world, starting from the penalty line, go to both sides
  • Slide step from base line to penalty line, do half turn and slide to the right side, do half turn and slide back to the baseline, do half turn and slide to underneath the hoop. Repeat the exercise to the other side.
  • Machine gun the feet agains the floor with the hands up, 2 rounds of 5 seconds
  • Play 10 times off the board, alternate sides after 5 plays
  • Dribble 5 times high, then 5 times low and quick, repeat three more times
  • Run 1 full court sprint by stopping at every line (mid court line, baseline, etc.)
  • Run 1 full court sprint
  • Shoot 5 free throws
